What’s New in 1.22

Enhancements:

Event Inspector for Enhanced Debugging: With the new Event Inspector feature, you can now verify that events are correctly being pushed to the data layer. This tool allows for efficient debugging of events directly within GTM Kit, reducing the need to rely on GTM’s preview mode. This makes the troubleshooting process quicker and more straightforward.

Advanced GCM Settings: We’ve added new Google Consent Mode (GCM) settings to give you finer control over how data is handled. These include:

• ‘ads_data_redaction’: Helps ensure that user data is handled according to privacy regulations by redacting user information when necessary.
• ‘url_passthrough’: Allows certain URL parameters to be passed through to event data, useful for tracking and attributing traffic sources or other URL-based attributes.
• ‘wait_for_update’: This setting delays the processing of events until consent updates are received, ensuring compliance with user consent choices.

Updated Custom Container Loader for Stape.io: We have updated our custom container loader to better integrate with Stape.io, enhancing performance and reliability when using Stape.io’s advanced server-side tagging capabilities. This update ensures smoother interactions and optimized data handling between GTM Kit and Stape.io.
