We are excited to present GTM Kit version 1.13! This release introduces several enhancements aimed at improving consent management and plugin compatibility, alongside essential bug fixes and compatibility declarations.
What’s New in 1.13
Enhancements:
Google Consent Mode Default Settings: We’ve introduced an option to set default settings for Google Consent Mode. This is especially beneficial if you’re not using a Consent Management Platform.
Extended Plugin Configuration Import Support: Our commitment to simplifying your setup process continues. Now, GTM Kit supports the import of even more plugin configurations, ensuring a more comprehensive integration.
Advanced Consent Management: We have made provisions to prevent Consent Management Platforms from inadvertently blocking GTM Kit and the Google Tag Manager container. If needed, this default behavior can be overridden using the filter hook ‘gtmkit_header_script_attributes’.
Bugfixes:
Namespace Problem Resolved: We identified and resolved a bug that could, in certain scenarios, result in a namespace conflict. This ensures a smoother and error-free experience.
Other Updates:
WooCommerce Compatibility Declaration: We are thrilled to announce that GTM Kit 1.13 is fully compatible with the WooCommerce Cart and Checkout blocks, enhancing your e-commerce experience.
WordPress Coding Standards Compliance: Ensuring quality and consistency, GTM Kit now complies with WordPress Coding Standards.
