What we collect
gtmkit.com collects only what is required to operate the website and to deliver the product you purchased. That is: your name and email when you create an account or buy a Premium subscription, your billing details when you pay (handled by our payment processor), and the license activations against your account so we know which sites your subscription is currently active on.
How we use data
Account and billing data is used to provision your subscription, activate and deactivate your license keys against the API at api.gtmkit.com, send transactional email (receipts, renewal notices, support replies), and meet our legal obligations as a Danish company.
We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell it. We do not share it with third parties beyond the operational sub-processors listed below.
Cookies and tracking
gtmkit.com uses cookies for: session management when you are logged into your account, cart and checkout state if you are buying Premium, and basic anonymised analytics. Consent is requested on the first visit and can be revoked at any time from the footer.
The GTM Kit plugin itself does not set any cookies and does not collect analytics. Events fired by the plugin go to your own Google Tag Manager container — they never reach us.
Third-party services
We use a small number of sub-processors to operate the site: a hosting provider (server infrastructure), a payment processor (Stripe), and an email delivery provider (transactional email). Each is contractually bound to the same privacy commitments stated here.
Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU/EEA, GDPR gives you the right to: access the data we hold about you, request correction or deletion, export your data in a portable format, and lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet). Email privacy@gtmkit.com for any of these requests; we respond within 30 days.
Data retention
Account data is retained as long as your subscription is active. Invoice data is retained for 7 years as required by Danish accounting law. When you delete your account, we anonymise personal fields and keep only what is legally required for tax records.
