Already running the Woo Add-On?

Your WooCommerce tracking, plus everything Premium adds.

GTM Kit Premium is a superset of the Woo Add-On. Every WooCommerce event you fire today fires exactly the same way on Premium. You add form tracking, advanced consent, and customer intelligence on top. Your existing Woo Add-On license keeps working until you switch.

What stays the same

Nothing breaks. The e-commerce tracking is identical.

Premium and the Woo Add-On share the same WooCommerce event layer. view_item, view_item_list, add_to_cart, begin_checkout, add_shipping_info, add_payment_info, purchase, refund, and order_paid all fire with the same payloads and the same data layer shape. There is no re-tagging, no new GTM container work, and no change to the events your tags and reports already depend on.

Your license

Your Woo Add-On license keeps working

It runs to the end of its paid term. You are never forced into an overlap.

Same dependency

Premium needs the free core plugin

Premium requires the free GTM Kit core plugin, exactly like the Woo Add-On does. Same dependency, same setup.

Additive

The migration is additive

You turn on Premium, your WooCommerce events keep firing, and the new features are there when you want them.

What you gain

What Premium adds on top of the Woo Add-On.

The Woo Add-On covers WooCommerce. Premium covers WooCommerce and the things around it: lead capture, consent, and who your customers actually are.

Added at the Premium launch

WP Consent API integration

Premium reads consent from the WordPress Consent API, so Complianz, CookieYes, Real Cookie Banner, Borlabs Cookie, and Termly are honored with no per-CMP code on your side.

Event deferral with timeout

A client-side queue holds events until consent is granted, then flushes them. Per-event control lets you defer the events that legally need consent and fire the rest immediately. A timeout you set decides what happens if consent never comes.

Advanced user tracking

The user_data event gains customer lifetime value, total order count, average order value, first and last order dates, customer segment, and product affinity. This is the data that makes audience building and high-value-customer targeting actually work in GA4.

Regional consent presets

Per-country defaults that reflect national DPA guidance across the EU and UK, fully overridable for your own legal review.

Switching is low-risk by design.

Because the WooCommerce event surface is identical, you can run both side by side. Activate Premium with your new license, confirm your events still fire the way they always have, and let your Woo Add-On license lapse at the end of its term. No deadline, no tracking gap, no reconfiguration. Existing Woo Add-On customers get a one-time migration price of $149 per year for 3 sites.

Questions from Woo Add-On customers

Still have questions? Contact support for direct help.

Will my Woo Add-On license stop working if I switch?

No. Your Woo Add-On license runs to the end of its paid term. Premium activates with its own license, and the two can run in parallel until your Woo term ends.

Do I lose any WooCommerce events on Premium?

No. Premium fires the same WooCommerce events with the same payloads as the Woo Add-On. There is nothing to re-tag and no change to your GTM container.

Do I need to reconfigure GTM or my tags?

No. The data layer shape is identical, so your existing tags, triggers, and variables keep working.

Why is Premium sold on gtmkit.com instead of the WooCommerce marketplace?

Premium is a separate product sold directly, which lets us ship features and updates faster and support you directly. The Woo Add-On stays on the marketplace.

What does Premium cost for an existing Woo customer?

There is a one-time migration price for current Woo Add-On customers. See /pricing/ for current figures.

Is Premium GDPR-friendly?

GTM Kit does not collect analytics data itself. Events go to your own GTM container. Premium adds the WP Consent API integration and per-country consent presets to make EU compliance easier.

Ready to move up from the Woo Add-On?

Same WooCommerce tracking you rely on, plus form tracking, advanced consent, and customer intelligence. Your current license keeps working until you switch.
